Working in Family Law

Regardless of the type of law they practice, most law firms share the same goal - to improve the lives of their clients by providing them with valuable legal advice. However, if you’re going to begin a career in family law, it’s important to consider how emotionally involved your cases can be. This is an element of family law that not many people consider when they’re first starting out.

Family law firms exist to help their clients navigate through some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether it’s a divorce, a child custody battle, or an abused spouse, working in family law requires an extraordinary degree of empathy. This is especially true at Gjesdahl Law where a receptionist will have personal interactions with our clients on a regular basis.
