Christel A. Croxen

Christel joined Gjesdahl Law, P.C. in 2015, after clerking for two years with the Cass County District Court. Christel learned early in her practice she wanted to focus primarily on financial issues in divorce. After joining the firm, she went back to school and in 2021 earned the equivalent of a BS in Accounting from the University of Minnesota in Crookston. Her additional education included farm finance, tax regulations, fraud, and business accounting issues. She has been certified by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. She intends to continue her education in more complex divorce financial issues.

Christel’s practice area has primarily been high-net-worth divorce cases, farm divorces, divorces with business entities, divorces with irrevocable trusts, and divorces with complex financial issues.

Christel lives in Fargo with her dog. She enjoys traveling abroad, exploring the outdoors, and photography.
